2nd Trip to Bahrain - part 3

The big day was the real event where we woke up early from those comfy beds in Banyan Tree and head to the BIC. As i told you in my previous post that when we met the circuit CEO, he allocated some garages for us. but as you know some invaders came in and took them.

Anyway, we got our new garages and all set helmets, cameras, seatbelt.. etc

Here we queued for the starting of the cars session, as it was the bikes session and unfortunately one of the bikes, a guy from Kuwait had an accident and we had to wait for the ambulance to clear everything and the track has to be checked for and leakage.

Thank god the guys wasn't hurt :)
And here we go :)

I was dividing my sessions between taking pictures and driving, I did not want to lose any moment without having fun. driving brings me joy, but capturing every moment and listening to the cars passing by was also a joy..

I had to walk 2 km and climb too many stairs to get this shot :P

This time the track was packed. last time we've been to the track it was only us and few others. not more than 20 cars in total.

However, our 2nd trip was a bit more crowded. Maybe because the weather is cooler and these cars need a lot of cooling under these conditions of extreme speeding/braking.

But in my humble opinion, the more cars you have at the track, the more fun it is.

I got offered to be a passenger in a GT2, you won't experince the track and enjoy it fully unless you are in a light car. Because the whole concept of the race or a trackday is the laptime. If you have a car that is fast in straight line, but cant do a proper stopping or cornering. don't pay and save your money.

It was almost sunset and that was my last session in the track. Taking pictures from the inside. banging my camera to the dash few times with hard braking.
At the end of the day, we gathered some of the cars for a shot. and that was it.
