Catching A Porsche Turbo!

If you were thinking about loaning your car to a friend this weekend, you may want to reconsider after watching this time-lapse video.

According to reports, the 24-year old owner of this Porsche 911 Turbo let his friend drive and the 29-year old drove it off a boat dock into the Rhine River.

The recovery mission took two attempts and approximately 20 minutes, but the car looks surprising well for spending a few days under water.

BMW 740i Burnout Fail!

These are the most stupid drifters I have ever seen.
Trying to drift a 2 tonnes car is a stupid idea, but doable. I have personally seen the same BMW car in Subhan back in 2001.

Australian flood vs Cars

Australia is under assault by rain and undergoing one of its worst natural disasters in its history.



Flood waters in the state of Queensland have ripped through numerous cities. Over 30 lives have been lost and many others are still missing. Homes are ruined and many more are at risk as the surge heads into Brisbane; Australia's third largest city. Damage estimates are already being pegged as high as $13 billion. One person was recently able to capture just how quickly a stream of water can turn into a raging river.

Filming from the balcony of their Toowoomba office, the video recorder watched as water levels grew higher until they were high enough to begin picking up parked cars (including a hapless Subaru WRX STI) and carrying them away.

on the way to the local dealer, it simply burned!

reporters said that the owner was calm in an unusual manner! but later on the discovered that he bought the car for 2 Millions $$, while insured it for another 3 Millions $$.

9ff GT9-R Wasted!

A string of crashes has plagued the racing world and the latest has been reported by German magazine Autobild of a 9ff GT9-R which crashed at the VMax Armageddon 2010 Bruntingthorpe event on March 13 in the UK.
Luckily, no one was hurt in the crash when the highly modified 1135 bhp Porsche 911 race car went off the track during a high speed braking maneuver. The car was going by number 00/20 for the event.
9ff did not mention the crash in their latest newsletter which did mention, though, that the car had broken a record at the track, reaching a new top speed of 356 km/h (222 mph) and doing it already in its 5th gear - with the track being too short for a shift into 6th.

Another Zonda Wasted

This time it is the C9 prototype, the replacement of the current pagani that was suppose to go public in six months.
Paramedics transported the driver to the hospital with non-critical injuries. The car is certainly capable of lethal speeds, as it uses a 6.0-liter V12 engine that produces 690 bhp (515 kW / 700 PS) and up to 1000 Nm (738 ft-lb) of torque.
