I was really laughing at work when I saw this guy

This marshal was trying to cross the track at an F1 show event in Japan when he realized Sebastien Buemi's Red Bull F1 show car was coming right at him and his only option was to jump over the F1 racer. What a dumb idea!

Unfortunately, the man was able to walk away from this incident in fine shape which took place during the Red Bull F1 Exhibition in Japan.

How Red Bull built the Formula one car ?

Instead of taking the overly technical route, the Red Bull boys have gone a bit "old-tyme." Their film manages to be entertaining and interesting, which is usually a hard task to accomplish with something like this.



It is really amazing how they make a car that weighs less than 600 kg and still able to create this downforce.

Bentley Extreme - Part 5

After The Yacht we came back to the villa.. only 5 of us

Since they divided us into 3 groups.

We waited for the next big thing..

A guy came in.. he look smarter than me!

And said : we have to wait.. too much air traffic!

To me that sounded like NASA!

Then he came again and said lets go.. another golf car waiting outside.. but no girls bind the wheel!

And again.. guess what !

A Helicopter! Another new thing for me.. am so luck :P

Since I was with the private jet pilot on the way to Abu Dhabi.. I get to sit in the front next to the pilot :P

Or maybe to take better shots! Thank god the guys usually appreciate the fact that they have a friend with a camera. So they let do what I want. It is an advantage sometimes, but your camera can be a pain in the a**

We flew above the track and Ferrari theme park that will open soon.

Bentley Extreme - Part 3

Arrived in Abu Dhabi, in the VVIP hall.

Two small buses were parked outside to take us to the hotel. It was about 20 mins. From the airport.

The Yas Hotel.

An amazing place to be for car enthusiasts, especially when you know that the hotel is surrounded by the Formula 1 track, and the track is surrounded with the Yachts of all sizes and models up to 100 feet long yachts.

A team from Al-Zayyani was welcoming us along with a team of Bentley and they handed us keys to the rooms.

The rooms were spacious and comfy, the racing style was applied slightly to give you the impression that you are staying in a track/hotel.

After checking out the rooms, we agreed to meet at the lobby since some of the guys told us that they have great sheesha. And we are supposed to have dinner @ 8:30 to meet the Bentley team and welcoming us.

The restaurants is called “Atayeb” Moroccan style, very nice.

I sat on table and afterwards few people joined us including Na’el Al-Zayyani, The owner of Al-Zayyani group.

And another guy from Bentley, hes been working with Bentley for the past 38 years!!! Imagine! 38 years and still enjoying work.. I guess I will shift and change my career to something in the automotive industry.

Dinner was served and believe it or not, the discussion was nothing but cars. The best dewaneya to be :P

We headed back to our rooms to have a good sleep for the next big day event.

Current BMW M6 - Production Ends

BMW announced they have ended production for the current generation M6.

I hope the new model will be a better car since it will carry the new 4.4 Litre engine producing 570 Bhp.

as fo the last generation, I travelled in one in 2008 in our annual trip the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Bahrain. it was early morning and the road was so empty, so we did this 330km/h +.

Originally launched in 2005, the coupe would go on to sell 9,087 units. The convertible also proved popular as it sold 5,065 copies since debuting in 2006. The top markets were the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom.


both vehicles were powered by a 5.0-liter V10 engine with 500 hp (373 kW / 507 PS) and 520 Nm (383 lb-ft) of torque. It enabled the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, while the convertible accomplished the same task in 4.8 seconds. Sadly, with the end of the M6, the V10 has also been killed off.

Ron Dennis says : Bugatti Veyron is a 'piece of junk'

Ron Dennis, Executive Chairman of McLaren Automotive, has described the world's most expensive production car as ‘a complete piece of junk'. The 63 year-old was being interviewed by Arabian Business when he said he could not even find a single aspect of the Bugatti Veyron that makes him feel good.
The man generally credited with Lewis Hamilton's racing success said the Veyron is pig ugly and cannot handle very well.
"I know that they have to cut the car open to take the engine out," he stated. "To make an engine in that configuration, you know, it doesn't go around corners."
Dennis then went on to refer to a BBC Top Gear comparison of his previous supercar, the McLaren F1, against Bugatti's technological tour de force. He described how the V12-powered F1 trounced the 16-cylinder Veyron so many times off the line that the filming crew got frustrated because his car was supposed to be beaten. Eventually the Veyron stopped dropping its clutch on take-off and was able to catch up to the McLaren F1.
The Bugatti Veyron is powered by an 8.0-litre, quad turbo engine making 736 kW (987 bhp /1,001 PS). In contrast the McLaren F1 had a naturally aspirated 6.0-litre kicking out 468kW (628bhp/ 636PS).
McLaren's latest supercar is the MP4-12C, a lightweight powerhouse with a 447 kW (600 bhp / 608 PS) 3.8-litre twin turbo engine. Ominously it is not the range-topper as something even more potent is being developed.
